Beit Rafaela: General Support for Cancer Patients
Founded in February 2022, Beit Rafaela is an association dedicated to supporting oncology patients in Jerusalem and its surrounding areas. Our mission is to assist individuals affected by cancer and their loved ones in all aspects of their lives, providing personalized support and care tailored to their specific needs.
Our approach is based on three essential aspects: physical, emotional, and social well-being. We offer over 20 types of therapies aimed at improving patients’ quality of life, including physiotherapy, onco-aesthetics, psychotherapy, and art therapy, as well as memory workshops, sports activities, and support groups. Medical follow-up is ensured throughout the journey, thanks to a team of 30 therapists, an oncologist, an oncology nurse, and a care coordinator.
Our collaboration with other associations of the kind enables us to provide support for complex administrative processes for patients.
Moreover, since October 2023, we have been committed to assisting soldiers and their families, offering paramedical treatments to alleviate the physical and psychological pain associated with their service, thanks to an amazing team of volunteers.
At Beit Rafaela, each patient is listened to attentively to build a personalized care program, within a compassionate and supportive environment.
